Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the workflow file, but shouldn't it have installed dpnp in the test (latest, 3.10), (latest, 3.13) and (latest, 3.14) jobs as well?

I've seen you've got an open issue for adding GPU runners to CI: #197. Just thought I'd mention that this isn't strictly necessary for dpnp. It should be possible to use an intel CPU with integrated graphics, for instance I was using an i7 8565U. There's an open issue asking for clarification on the conditions for using dpnp on CPU: IntelPython/dpnp#2923

CI failures here seem real.

Great to know GPU CI is not strictly necessary for dpnp. There is no ETA for CPU CI in this repository: we want it at some point yes, but it's not pressing (we need to test things locally often anyway), and the effort to set it up is high enough.

For me to understand: the CI is failing all around with

Is this something configurable on the dpnp side?

I guess we need an update on the linked issue regarding dpnp on CPU, but from what I have tested, dpnp requires either a dedicated GPU (Intel, AMD or NVIDIA) or an Intel CPU with integrated graphics. The CI is failing because it is running on an AMD CPU, which doesn't seem to be supported, and I don't think there's a configuration the user can change to fix this. I don't think GitHub offers Intel CPUs with integrated graphics in CI, they have some Intel CPUs for MacOS but they don't have integrated graphics and dpnp doesn't support MacOS anyway.
