Programmatic use

Pi has several options for programmatic use:

It would be great if 3code had an SDK and/or RPC. I'd actually prefer ZeroMQ for RPC, but whatever works.

3code does have an SDK! You can get a full 3code relatively simply by importing it in Nim, and add what you need.

But if you are interested more into a method for remote control of a finished 3code process- yes, that makes total sense.

For now, what you can do is run a prompt on the command line in oneshot mode

3code I want a pony

and then use -r to continue the sessoin in a nother oneshot

3code -r and a stable for the pony

If you run in -r mode how do you know what the errors are? Are there error codes or do you have to parse the text?

You parse it- ai think the error code is zero or not too.

The simplest upgrade I wanted to do soon is parseable output with a flag.

In that case this issue can be closed, I can open a new one for something more specific. Yes, a wiki would be helpful. Unless there was anything you wanted to track here?

Yeah- I'll leave this issue open for enhanced RPC or the more parseable output.
