Multiple Zoo Code windows could interleave an old child completion with a newer delegation, orphaning the newer child and leaving
attempt_completionunable to return. Failure recovery also needed to preserve external record ownership, and provider shutdown needed to prevent a late transition from installing or resuming tasks after cleanup.Impact
Subtasks now return only to the parent handoff that still owns them. Failed transactions restore only validated state they still own, and disposal waits for tracked delegation work before cleaning every task, preventing post-shutdown task or listener leaks.
The complete
pnpm testsuite passed on the final rebased head: 475 test files and 8,458 tests passed, with 4 files and 39 tests skipped. The focused persistence/provider command passed 6 files and 330 tests; the real-lock stale-cache regression also passed 20/20 isolated stress runs.pnpm lifecycle:model-check,pnpm check-types, andpnpm lintpassed.
