MDBF fell through to the dequantize fallback and exported randomly initialised weights without error; an explicit mode= bypassed the unsupported guard, including OneBit. Add mdbf to the unsupported set and move it to checkpoint.py as UNSUPPORTED_METHODS so dequantize_to_hf rejects it too, guard on plan["path"] instead of the resolved mode, and raise before save_pretrained when load_state_dict leaves any .weight/.bias unsourced.
