:Augment signin does not open browser

Sign up command does not open a browser on my machine.
Allow me to copy the url so I can sign up.

I cloned the repo locally so I could log the url to a file to copy it.

I had similar trouble. I initially ran signin from Neovide. Every attempt I made to select and copy the URL ended in it closing the popup with no way to copy. I ended up switching to Neovim directly in a terminal so that I could actually get a grip on the characters and get them copied.

I would suggest the popup type used be adjusted to something more robust, and an attempt made (after prompting the user for permission) to pass the URL xdg-open.

Shift + Left mouse click on the link opened it in the browser for me

@waikoo That's a feature of your terminal, not vim or this plugin. It only works if you are in a terminal that supports it (e.g. that is the default shortcut for Alactritty), and only if the whole URL shows up in a single line. If it wraps or is obscured by the popup being too small or you are using a VIM UI other than a terminal or you are not in a terminal with URL detection, then it doesn't help.

The way it's done at the moment does not seem to be well aligned with how neovim works. For example I couldn't get it to work at all in neovide. Can't click. Can't select and copy.

Please don't try to be smart with these feature in vim/neovim. Just follow the patterns and make something terminal agnostic. No need to try to build impressive things. Most people using vim just want things to work efficiently, not impressively.

Thank you, I was able to open it in the browser by adding this call line
