project still maintained?

Dear pysaml2 maintainers,

Thanks for working on pysaml2!
I wonder if this project is still in good maintenance. I've sent an email to the mentioned mailing list ( from https://github.com/IdentityPython/pysaml2/blob/master/SECURITY.md) without any response.

There is multiple PRs open to help solving CVEs by bumping dependencies but those are not getting merged.

So is this project still alive? Is there anything users can help with to get this project being active?
